Spotlight: New Zoya True and Fleck Effects Spring Collections + Zoya Promo!

I’m sure many of you by now have seen the info on these two collections which will both be available January 13, 2012 but I figured I would make a post about it since I am looking forward to the fleck effect collection the most.

The True Collection consists of 6 opaque muted shades with a mix of creams and metallics which Zoya describes the colors as follows:
Cho – Vanilla shimmer metallic
Farah – Latte beige cream
Bevin – Pale sage green cream
Skylar – Silvered slate blue metallic
Tru – Gilded purple orchid metallic
Lotus – Light lotus purple metallic

The Fleck collection consists of 3 fleck glitter polishes that can be used either alone or layered over other polishes for instance to compliment the shades in the True collection. These look similar to other flaky polishes we’ve seen before with flecks that give off subtle duo shifts in color but all three have different colored tinted bases which Zoya describes as follows:
Maisle – Blue tint with mylar green fleck effect
Opal – Green tint with mylar green fleck effect
Chloe – Pink tint with mylar green and gold fleck effect

When I first heard Zoya was getting on board with flaky polishes I was so excited so I’m really intrigued to try out all three fleck polishes although from reviews and swatches it looks like Maisle and Opal are almost dupes of each other specifically when layered over polishes as you can’t tell the difference while it seems Chloe does shows a subtle difference between the two. The True collection looks nice as well but the colors don’t knock me out making me want to run out and grab them, although from seeing early swatches the fleck effects do look beautiful over the polishes from the True collection, the only polish from the true collection that does stand out to me would be Bevin so I may have to pick that up along with the 3 flecks.
I’m really glad Zoya is branching out and trying new things, so here’s to hoping that eventually they will release a holographic collection because I would be all over that, haha!

Availability: Zoya.com $8 per bottle retail on January 13th

Also Zoya released a new promo and a great one at that, 2 Free polishes of your choice just pay standard shipping ($6.95).
Promo Code: ZOYA2012
Expiration: This Promo ends 1-9-2012 11:59PM EST

Will you be trying out anything from the Fleck Effect or True Collections? Or picking up any new polishes with the current promo code, I think I may need to pick up Sooki since I really need a nice true red cream polish since oddly enough I don’t seem to own one yet, haha.
