Lush Boxing Day Haul pt2

Here’s my second Lush haul which is actually from Lush UK, I ended up placing an order there first since there sale went live a day earlier and I wasn’t sure when the US Lush site’s sale would go live and since I had to work early that morning I wasn’t sure if I would be able to get on in time to grab anything and from what I had heard this year Lush’s Christmas stock was lower than usual in comparison to the past years which proved to be true as later that night I believe nearly everything had already sold out. I definitely preferred the theme and sale from the UK site more since everything was simply marked 50% off which made shopping easier especially since when Lush does the Buy 1 get 1 free using the drop down boxes to pick items can be more time consuming and easy to make mistakes.

Plus it’s cheaper to order from the Lush UK website than it is to order from the US website due to the exchange rates and going prices so just for fun I’ll include price comparisons for my order below in case any of you guys are curious about the exchange rate and how it ends up being cheaper.

I did have a ton of problems like everyone else trying to even get on the site to order but eventually I got everything added to my cart and was able to check out and pretty much got everything I was hoping for. The shipping was decent and got here pretty fast and everything was packaged well so nothing ended broken or exploded which is always good.

(£0.98 unit price) (£ 1.96 total) comes to $3.06 whereas for x2 US $6.95 price would have been $13.90

Three Gold Rings Bubble Bar x3

(£1.56 unit price) (£4.69 total) comes to $7.32 whereas for x3 US $6.95 price would have been $20.85

Golden Wonder Bath Bomb x1

(£1.35 unit price) (£1.35 total) comes to $2.10 whereas for x1 US $6.95 would have been $6.95

Abombinaball Bath Bomb x5

(£1.23 unit price) (£6.15 total) comes to $9.60 whereas for x5 US $6.95 would have been $34.75

Jilted Elf Shower Jelly x1

(£3.31 unit price) (£3.31 total) comes to $5.16 whereas for x1 US $10.95 would have been $10.95

Grand Total: £50.14 comes to $78.19

Which when calculating just what the US price total would have been for each item it comes to $108.25 not including shipping which lets say the $8 option for air shipping since its faster than $6 for standard making the total shipped $116.25 versus the UK grand total of $78.19 for a savings of $38.06. 

Lush Boxing Day Haul pt1

I think I was one of the lucky few who actually didn’t encounter too many problems with ordering on Boxing Day, the day after Christmas sale. I stayed up till 3:00am for the start of the sale and already had all my items in the cart ready to go, although I did have to make a few slight changes in items since I went in assuming it would include more of the wrapped gifts than it actually did which was a little disappointing in comparison to last year but a sale is a sale after all. But switching the items wasn’t too painful and there was only a slight bit of lag, I did get fearful since my first attempt at putting in my info to check out didn’t go through but the second attempt went perfectly.

As you can see from my haul I was really only interested in bath bombs and bubble bars so I was originally hoping the selection for both would have been a bit better but I’m happy with what I got although I would have LOVED to have picked up a ton of the Snowdrops Bath Bomb since I ordered some of them a few months ago and they are amazing. I do wish they would make more wrapped gifts that contained only bath bombs and bubble bars, since for the most part it seemed the ones that did contain bath bombs all had either cinders or so white which while they are really nice it would be nice to see them switch it up.

This was also the fastest any Lush order has ever gotten to me, I did choose 2day (air) which is what I always select so it was a nice surprise to see it get here so quickly since they tend to take up to a week if not a little longer, I ordered on the 26^th and it got here on the 29^th, so I’m honestly amazed, haha.
