Butter London Henley Regatta

Butter London Henley Regatta

The last few times I’ve stopped by Ulta I always seem to walk by the Butter London display and this polish always catches my eye but I kept telling myself I didn’t need it since I figured I already had something similar but the last time I was at Ulta I kept walking over and picking it up and putting it back, lol so I figured why not and had to buy it since I knew if I didn’t I would have been regretting not picking it up once I got home. This polish is extremely gorgeous in the bottle since it’s like a bright aqua turquoise mermaid green finely milled glitter with tiny blue flecks of glitter mixed in.
So other than the price tag of $14 for a small 4fl oz bottle that always puts me off wanting to buy Butter London polishes I really love this color I only wish it wasn’t as sheer as it really is, it took me about 6-8 coats to get a full opaque coverage so this polish would have been a hit if it were more dense. But it’s still a gorgeous color that would probably work best for layering purposes and I didn’t have any problems with application, it applied well and dried fast.

Also for fun I thought I would include some additional swatches of Butter London’s Henley Regatta layered over other polishes: from left to right:
Butter London Henley Regatta over Finger Paints Black Expressionism
Butter London Henley Regatta over China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise
Butter London Henley Regatta over Zoya Veruschka
Butter London Henley Regatta over Zoya Savita
I think it looks stunning over black since you can really see all the tiny details and pops of color, it looks really great over a turquoise since the colors just play well against one another and it looks really fun and unique over purple.

So have any of you guys tried out Butter London’s Henley Regatta if so what are your thoughts and what are your favorite polishes for layering with it?
